Let it snow.

One of the things I love about living in the Northeast, is winter. I love snow. We have not gotten much yet this year, but this morning, we awakened to a fresh coating of snow.

There wasn't enough to go sled riding, but just enough to make this holly bush show its true colors.

New addition

So, I apologize for leaving everyone hanging with the "9th grandchild on the way". My brother and his wife are expecting their third child this summer. We are all very excited for them.

The cousins are especially excited to have another one in the bunch. Hey Dad, it is time for a bigger dining room table!

Thanks to all of you for your emails. I wanted to let you know that you can leave comments here on my blog. Just click on "Comments" and follow the directions.

New year, New things....

Here we go. Blogging is all very new to me. I got interested in it about six months ago when I discovered my cousin Cammy's blog. It is a great way to keep up on family happenings when you live far away, and even when you don't. The magnificant 8 celebrating the October birthdays.Little did we know, that the 9th one was on its way!

So, 2008 is off to a much better start than last year. Those of you that know me, know that last year at this time, I was undergoing radiation therapy for a benign tumor in my skull.

When I think of how sick I was at that time, I praise God for his mercy in bringing me through that time in my life. I am doing well. Back to work and back in the midst of my crazy life. I travel to Philadelphia next month for my one year check up. I am hoping for a clean bill of health and a "We'll see you in a year."

I celebrated my 38th birthday this past Tuesday and it was a great day. I went to lunch with a good friend and then spent the evening with my wonderful family. Thanks Steph and my crew for a great day.
