Did you ever feel like the only luck you had at all was bad luck. Lately that is how I have been feeling. It seems like the last two years have just been one thing after another. First I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Then we lost Mark's Mom. I had radation treatments with subsequent six months of recovery.
We had a calm six months, and then in April, Mark had a seizure while driving us back from Baltimore, MD. Two weeks ago I developed an abcess in my pelvis and have been visiting the doctor every three days to have it unpacked and repacked. This morning while driving to the gym, I was T-boned by a driver who ran a red light. My first thought was, WHAT ELSE??!!!
Then I get a reality check from God. Who protected you during those radiation treatments when an allergic reaction almost killed you?? Who protected you when the car you were riding in was sliding in the median at 70 miles per hour with an unconscious driver? And who protected you this morning and allowed you to walk away from a bad accident with bruises and minor lacerations??
REALITY CHECK
Our God is awesome and though troubles come, he is there, constant and true.
For sale, a pre-owned Chevy Cavalier, "gently" used....Think I'll get any takers??!!
