When we were cold as kids, Mom and Dad always told us to think about warm things and that it would make us feel warm. So, with our cold and very windy day today, I decided to think warm thoughts.
One of the things that reeled us in when we were looking to relocate, was the wonderful big pool in the backyard. As you can see, the kids love the pool. Think 85+ degrees.....
This is our Jack Russell, Izzy. She is not a big fan of the pool especially when she is being splashed.

What a great way to feel like it is warmer. It has been very cold here as well. They are now calling for us to get 1/4 inch of ice tonight, changing to rain.

When did you get a Jack Russell Terrier? What a cutie.
BTW, I think the girls would love the Tasha Tudor cookbook if they enjoy being in the kitchen. The bread that Gracie made was very easy.

If Izzy liked H2O, you could use her to scrub the sides of the pool. The pic doesn't show the hair along her spine is curly and tight like a bristly brush, while the rest of her is straight and lays flat. Then she would need the snorkel and fins. :)
